I am so thankful for the gift that the Lord gave me in Jonathan on December 3, 2009, for Christmas. I am so thankful for the 9 months the Lord has given us as a courting couple! It has been such a wonderful time getting to know each other, becoming friends, becoming closer friends! I am so thankful for the love the Lord given us as a courting/engaged couple. Lord willing, I am looking forward to our friendship growing more and more and our love growing more and more and our upcoming wedding in 85 days!!!!!!

On Thursday night, Jonathan arrived after 10:30 right before we headed to stay at Granny's for the night. As he walked into the door, he held a vase filled with a beautiful dozen red roses!!! Plus a Love Letter/card! But the best part was seeing Jonathan walk through the door with his handsome smile!

Then after Rebekah and I heading off to Granny's...the next morning, we came back home, ate breakfast, and headed to go register and buy wedding bands! We bought our bands at Kay's, and headed for Walmart, but wouldn't you know? The Walmart register machine was broke! So, we headed to JcPenney's!

After eating lunch at Taco Bell and one more errand, we went to church so that Daddy could counsel us.

It wasn't as bad as I thought...haha...not at all...

Afterwards, we took Rebekah to her piano lesson. It was a great time to sit and talk to Jonathan while she was teaching!

After Rebekah's lesson, we came home and had Bethany's 13th Birthday Party! Can you guess the theme?

Mama's birthday is coming up in the next week, too, and Daddy bought her a fire pit and patio set...here we are trying to get the fire to start...

The End...

Of a wonderful weekend with my Jonathan! Yes, Jonathan left about 3 hours ago, and it was so hard to see him go after having him beside me for almost 3 days! Jonathan arrived on Thursday night around 10:45 or so, walking in the door with a dozen deep red roses and a card...he is so sweet!! Then after standing around talking for a few minutes, Rebekah and I headed to Granny's to spend the night. Yesterday, we started out going to go register at Walmart, but wouldn't you know? The registry machine was broke. So...we went to JcPenney to register for sheets and towels and such. Daddy counseled us on marriage...and then we had Bethany's birthday party. Today, we did register online with Walmart...and after a good breakfast that Mam fixed, we visited the route, went out to the church to finish somethings, ate at McD's, and then came the hard part...saying goodbye...THE END...of a wonderful time with Jonathan! Pictures will come soon! We are down to 3 months!!!!!!!

20 Weeks and Counting...

Yes, everyone, we are down to 20 weeks!!!! Woohoo!!! Well, maybe, a little under 20 weeks....let's see...so far we have:

• My Dress: needs alterations!
• My Shoes
• My Veil
• Bridesmaides' dresses: picked out and ordered
• Guest book with pen
• Bubbles
• Invitations (at least some for now): bought them at Michael's with two 50% off coupons! Only paid $8.00 for 100 invites (bought 2 boxes)!! Better than Walmart that's for sure!
• Bridemaides' flowers (we are doing these ourselves)
• Rented chocolate fountain for November (don't you just love 'em?)
• Over 13 yards of white tulle (still may need more of this)
• Pianist (the Lord worked this out!)
• On the side: 1 cake pan, 1 pie pan, 1 decorative plate rack (just random finds for later! :D)

So that is what is going on for right now as far as wedding stuff! Today has been a good day so far...great Lord's Day, in a great church, with a great pastor! Had a great afternoon talking to my Jonathan...he always makes it a great day... ;-)...anyway, I got a little sidetracked there...I have to say, "I love Jonathan!"...ok...I did have a wonderful day today. We had some wonderful fellowship with our family and our newest member and her family. It is so great to be able to fellowship with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
