This God's Been Good Monday, I am doing two different things...a music review and sharing a favorite verse!

The first one is the music review:

Jonathan and Tiffany Epley's CD, "In God We Still Trust"

Our family has really enjoyed this cd. We have listened to it over and over. You can click the picture to listen to samples of their cd. The cd includes songs like, "I'm Still Amazed," "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms," but I will have to say one of my favorites is "The Old Gospel Story." So be sure to check it out!

Now for the verses:

Deuteronomy 7:7&8

"The Lord did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the Lord loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt."

My favorite part of these verses is verse 7, but also the first part of verse 8, "The Lord did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people...But because the Lord love you..." We have that promise today as Christians. Even though the Bible is talking about the children of Israel here, we can apply it to our lives as Christians. The Lord has kept His word...why? because He loved us....The Lord has saved us...why? because He loved us...there is nothing special about me or you...it just all goes back to the fact that He loves us! God is so good!
